What people notice first
- Droppings in drawers, cabinets, along walls or in the garage

Location tells you a lot
Activity in a kitchen points in a different direction than activity in an attic or crawl space. Note where you saw it, what time of day, and whether it happens repeatedly. That short description is usually enough for a provider to know what questions to ask.
When it's worth a call
One insect near a door in summer is normal. Repeated sightings, growing numbers, damage, or activity in more than one room are the patterns that most often lead people to contact a professional.
