Evidence to check for
- Droppings along walls, in drawers, under sinks or behind appliances
- Gnaw marks on packaging, cardboard and baseboards
- Scratching or scurrying in walls and ceilings at night
- Nesting material: shredded paper, insulation or fabric
- Greasy smudges along frequently used paths
Where they get in
- Gaps around utility and pipe penetrations
- Garage door corners and worn weather seals
- Foundation cracks and unscreened vents
- Dryer vents and unsealed soffit gaps
